Hotel Cristoforo Colombo is located in a quiet residential area 6 miles from the center of Rome. The guest rooms (although not large by North American standards) have recently been renovated and are stylish and immaculate. The bathrooms are done in fine marble with a large jacuzzi tub and shower. All rooms are air conditioned and come with amenities typical of a four-star hotel. The hotel has an outdoor pool and a small garden. Breakfast each morning is simple, yet delicious; and the wait staff are a pleasant delight. In fact, you will find the entire hotel staff to be very accommodating and responsive. No, the Cristoforo Colombo is not next to Trevi Fountain or the Spanish Steps, but your experience was enhanced by seeing a little more of Rome than just the typical sights. If you don't mind taking a short metro ride and experiencing the real city, you will enjoy the Hotel Cristoforo Colombo.
