Hotel Description

Location. The Bettoja Massimo D'Azeglio is an imposing building on top of Esquilino hill in Rome, Italy. Within 300 meters of the hotel is the Santa Maria Maggiore basilica, while the Coliseum, the Forum and the Trevi Fountain are all a kilometer away. Fiumicino Airport is 35 kilometers from the hotel.

Hotel Features. Dating back to the 1930s, The Bettoja Massimo D'Azeglio hotel has been renovated to conserve its early style. The lobby features marble floors with upholstered furniture in tones of green and brown. Complimentary buffet breakfasts are served daily. The restaurant, Massimo D'Azeglio, serves traditional Italian cuisine in early 1900s 'Umbertino'-style surrounding enhanced by the collection of historic drawings and paintings. The cellar bar, La Cantina, serves cheese with an extensive wine list around rustic wooden tables.

Wireless Internet access is available in the lobby lounge area and a computer is available to access the Internet in the lobby's business corner.

Guestrooms. High ceilings and long windows are featured in the 197 guestrooms of the Bettoja Massimo D'Azeglio. The rooms combine original Art Deco furniture and late 19th century decor with hardwood floors and panelling. All rooms have in-room safes and minibars.
