Location. The Atahotel Villa Pamphilli is located in an up-market residential area of Rome, Italy, within three kilometres of the Vatican City and historic city centre.
Hotel Features. Set in extensive grounds, the Villa Pamphilli offers the facilities of a resort hotel with the opportunity to explore Rome's famous sights. The hotel runs a regular shuttle bus to and from the Vatican area, as well as to the Stazione Trastevere. It also features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool (open June to September) and large air-conditioned lobby with a concierge service. The hotel offers complimentary parking, and wireless Internet access in public areas (surcharge).

The Atahotel Villa Pamphilli offers a complimentary American-style buffet breakfast daily. The hotel restaurant serves Italian and international dishes for lunch and dinner. There is a patio for al fresco dining, and the dining room itself is decorated with trompe l'oeil paintings. The hotel also has a lounge piano bar opening onto a terrace overlooking the gardens.

Getting there. The Leonardo Express runs between the airport and the Termini train station in the city centre every 30 minutes. The journey time is about 35 minutes and single tickets cost 9.50 EUR. The Terravision shuttle bus runs between the airport and Termini station. The hotel runs a shuttle to Stazione Trastevere. Taxis to the city centre cost about 60 EUR, and taking a metered licensed taxi is advised. Prices are all subject to change. Getting around. Rome's historic city centre is easy to explore on foot, as many attractions are located close together. The city has an efficient public transport system, including trams, buses, suburban trains, and metro (underground). Tickets can be purchased from tobacconists and ATAC ticket machines, and should be bought prior to boarding. Single tickets cost 1 EUR, and are valid for 75 minutes, covering one metro trip and unlimited bus travel. Driving in the city centre is not advised for visitors.
